We had the date for our wedding set and I decided to look online at all the bridal accessories they had available and what the costs would be, since we were trying to keep things as low as possible. Weddings can be quite expensive. Luckily I found just about everything I needed to stay within high bridal fashion and still save money. Wait until you hear all the things I ordered, including some gorgeous bridal hair accessories. But first things first.
We decided that a lovely theme wedding would be what we would like, and the theme we chose was a beach theme. We’ve always lived near the water, even as kids and it has been a favorite place of ours and our friends for years.
So the first thing I did was to order the beach themed wedding invitations and get them in the mail as soon as possible. There were no no’s in the RSVP’S, and they all seemed to be really looking forward to our wedding day. With that out of the way it was time to start looking for all of my bridal supplies I would need. Even though I shop online all the time, I never expected to find such a big selection of wedding accessories. I saw a gorgeous tiara and hair comb in the selection, and I just had to have them. I also found wedding jewelry that I really wanted to wear for my ceremony. I ordered a beautiful necklace and earring set that looked absolutely fantastic with my gown. It was so beautiful with little pearls and glistening crystals, it looked fantastic.
There were a lot of accessories to choose from that were so beautiful and most of the items were reasonable in price. I also bought a few items I can use while on our honeymoon. I know that a short thin materialed dress would have been more appropriate for a beach ceremony, but I had my heart set on my full length gown. My bridesmaids wore a light weight satin dress for my wedding and so did my little flower girl. Everyone of them looked stunning and my flower girl was so adorable.
There were torches around the reception area and the dance floor was lit up with little white lights we had strung around. On the reception tables there were seashells and starfish scattered about and place card holders that were adorable little sailboats. As wedding favors I wanted to give them something special from the seaside collection, so I chose the beach themed photo frames for each of them. I think the picture frames I chose were to their liking.
There were tealights and candles to light up our beautifully set bridal table and lovley beach themed flutes for the wedding toast. Everything at our wedding reception came with a beach theme décor, including our fantastic wedding cake topper. We had a cake topper of a young couple holding each other as they walked along the beach. With all the items and bridal accessories they had available, it was easy to make this wedding and reception a total success. There was so much seafood, such as lobsters, crabs and shrimp and we also had plenty of chicken and steaks for the non seafood eaters. Everyone danced, ate and just had a fantastic time. It was a little sad when we had to leave for our honeymoon and everyone was still partying it up.
As soon as we returned from our honeymoon I got out my beautiful beach themed wedding guest book and started writing thank you cards to our friends and family. That was a day I’ll always remember and I’ll have lots of photos in my beach wedding album to look at and relive again and again.
