You recieve bride and groom gifts at wedding showers, bachelor parties, and bachelorette parties. There are a lot of neat little gifts that you can give your bride and groom to be at these parties. I loved some of the stuff my hubby and I got. Of course plain old money works just fine, and that’s what our engagement party gifts consisted of for the most part, but there were a lot of more creative presents as well. Plus he got a few things that were gag gifts, like the inflatable lady they handcuffed him too, and the ball and chain they made him wear for the party. The guys had other hilarious gifts for groom they gave him, to ad to the merriment of his bachelor party. My girls night out party was fantastic too and I got a lot of gag gifts, but also quite a few nice bride gifts too. They gave me a shimmering white satin purse with a clasp made of crystal on it and a ribbon on top to boot. Inside the bag they had put little gifts like a manicure set, a girls night out tee shirt, a bride to be brooch and a few little accesories a girl likes to have with her. I loved this pillow they gave me which had the word ‘tonight’ embroidered on a side, and then you turned it over and it read ‘not tonight’. It was definitely an interesting and funny throw pillow.
On the other hand, the bride and groom wedding gifts we got the reception were all more serious. We did get extras, like a couple of extra toasters, two identical set of dishes, and more waffle irons than we’ll ever need, but that’s par for the course with such an enourmous wedding. We filled out a bridal registry and we received a food processor and china from that, along with some other things I had written down. My mother- and father-in-law gave us a bar side set and a pool table, and my husband thought it was absolutely wonderful, and has already planned a get together with the guys. My parents got us tickets to Greece for our honeymoon. We got a tremendous amount of lovely presents from our friends and relatives, all of whom we adore so much.
They are what helped to make our day so special, just being there to share it with us, meant the world to both of us. They were with us every step of the way, from our engagement party to the wedding and to the reception dinner. They have always been there for us no matter what, and I’m so glad we have so many wonderful friends and such a devoted family, in our lives. It’s also great to have such wild and crazy friends in the mix to throw you such fantastic girls night out parties and bachelor parties. With friends like that around, your life will be anything but boring. We will send out thank you cards to all our friends and family, but that doesn’t really show just how much we adore them.

My fiance and I set the date for our wedding in January, because I had my heart set on a winter wonderland ceremony and reception. Perfect for our themed reception and the handles matched with the winter wedding guestbook and pen I picked out.
The handles on the wedding flute matched the sign in book and cake serving set’s we had, all with winter designs. The other things on our wedding table went perfectly with them, and they were designed with a wintery blue and white look with snowflakes mixed in. Actually all the tables were exquisite and our guests were very happy with the wedding favors and place card holders they got to take home with them. The little flower girl seemed happy with her necklace we got her for a thank you gift, plus she got to keep the little tiara she wore in the wedding ceremony. Our ring bearer was excited because he got his own tee shirt and a yo-yo made of stainless steel. I got my maid of honor a bracelet made of crystal, and all of my bridesmaids received tank tops with their names written on them in small crystals. The men’s presents were handled by my groom. He bought a best man mug and a neat pen set for the best man, and everyone else received a battery-operated digital clock. I think everyone was really happy with the thank you favors they received and I think they all had a great time at the reception.
The products I discovered on the Internet made our wedding day everything I dreamed it could be. By finding deals on the web, we were able to come in under our budget. It was astonishing to us to see that many charming accessories and supplies for so low a cost. We found a photo book for the wedding where you could put little mementos and crafts. Talk about a wonderful picture book to cherish your memories with.
Finally we were down to the cake topper, place card holders and wedding favors. That was all we had left to pick out. Our blushing bride picked out a pair of glazed porcelain doves to use as her cake topper. Those doves will make an outstanding piece for her to treasure forever. Every guest got a place card holder at the reception that was silver and in the shape of a picture frame. She said she liked those best because after the reception the guests could take them home and use them to display their favorite little picture. The products she bought for her special day ended up being very good choices. She bought a lot of items at discount prices, so she saved a little money and plans on putting that towards their honeymoon.
The wedding ceremony was absolutely fantastic and the reception was gorgeously decorated and got a lot of positive comments. When the bride and groom did their first dance, it was a stunningly beautiful moment. We all did a lot of dancing that night, and I swear my feet still hurt, but it was all worth it, it was a wonderful event that I will remember forever. Its been several years since my wedding and I can’t believe how much everything has changed for the better, including the decorations. I actually heard that some brides and grooms have an outside winter wedding. That sounds amazing, but it seems just a little too modern, and too cold for my taste. It’s looks like when this is finished being planned, that it will be a big family barbecue with dear friends. It sounds like it will be a fantastic time for all the guests. Would you believe there’s even going to be an old fashioned barn dance too? Now that I knew what to expect I decided to get all the western gear, like blue jeans, cowboy boots, and cowboy hats so I can participate in all the fun. This is going to be a wedding to remember and will be talked about for years to come. With our anniversary coming up soon, I may take my daughters idea and have a country western renewal ceremony and reception.
