With the wedding invitations out of the way, I knew it was time to start on the wedding and reception supplies. I asked my mom to come along on my venture to the bridal shop for my dress and shoes. When she finally stopped tearing up after I tried on a few dresses, she was very helpful. After hitting every shop in town and verifying the many styles that were available, I found the perfect wedding dress for me. All the guys in the wedding party and the handsome groom found their tuxes on their very first try. I was praying that he wouldn’t give the appearance of a pall bearer standing at the altar, because he picked the first suit he tried on. But I was wrong, he did good, and he looked extremely handsome.

After I took care of everything the wedding party needed, it was time to consider ceremony decorations. I had red roses arranged around the altar and throughout the room, with ribbon and red velvet bows hung on every pew. I bought a gorgeous unity candle with a love theme and surrounded it with lots of other beautiful candles. I was given permission for the flower girl to toss the red and pink flower petals on the aisle. Most churches won’t allow that anymore, but ours was pretty nice about it. Everything went off without a hitch and the decorations were as perfect as our wedding ceremony.

Even though I did quite a bit of shopping for our wedding ceremony, there was even more to do for our reception. Our supplies for the reception started with love theme decorations with a love theme and ended with love themed favors. There were bouquets of red roses placed everywhere and little red hearts hung from above. In front of the band was red and white balloons in the shape of a large heart, right on the dance floor.

Our tables were so beautiful with all the lovely centerpieces of flowers and a little cupid in each one. The little white pearls on the place card holders really added to the love décor of the tables. There were some fantastic favors boxes to choose from for the love favors we bought for our friends and family. Some guests were commenting on how lovely the tables were with all the flowers and the lovely favor boxes. Our bridal wedding table was really exquisite too. Along with our love themed cake serving set were beautiful crystal heart champagne flutes, perfect for the bride and grooms toasting. But the most beautiful thing on our table was our lovely three tiered wedding cake. For the crowning glory of our cake I chose a love birds cake topper. Everything on the wedding table was perfect, starting with our sparkling crystal all the way to the three tiered wedding cake.

Thanks to all the accessories and supplies I found online this wedding turned out to be absolutely perfect.

I got to the thank you notes for our guests as soon as we got back from our fabulous honeymoon. Many of the guests sent us thank you’s for the great time they had at the wedding and reception and for the love party favors gifts they received. That was such a thoughtful thing to do.
