The wedding I went to 2 weeeks ago was all set up with gorgeous mikasa crystal accessories for all the reception tables. The place settings were so extraordinary with all the mikasa wedding favors and fabulous mikasa crystal glassware. The bride really has excellent taste in wedding décor and knows how to set an exquisite table. The tables just shined with lustre and elegance with all the different mikasa accessories.
They had lovely little place card holders that were the cutest silver doves, with bride and groom placecards on their tails. The centerpieces she chose really helped to bring out the beauty of her reception tables. A beautiful floral arrangement was placed around pillar candles as the centerpieces. Their choice of wedding favors were something to acknowledge too. At every table setting was a lovely gift of mikasa crystal wedding favors. The beautiful mikasa crystal was packaged in such special favor boxes with nice little thank you hang tags attached.
Their wedding cake was another spectacular sight to behold with five layers of luscious chocolate with chocolate cream cheese in between each layer. Their wedding cake topper was really extra special. Since she ordered most of her wedding supplies and decorations from an online wedding store, she decided to check out the cake toppers too, and found out they customize wedding cake toppers. They make figurines that look just like the bride and groom for the topper and all it takes is sending them a couple head shots of the happy couple. It looked just like them. My mom and dad are having a renewal ceremony for their anniversary, and I’d like to find out where she ordered that cake topper from so I could get one made for their reception party.
One of the highlights of the evening was when the bride gave up her garter for the toss. Watching the looks on the guys faces as the groom removed the garter from the brides leg, was priceless. All of them were reaching and pushing into each other with the sole objective of being the one to take home the brides garter. One guy didn’t want to be in the garter toss contest, but the other guys persuaded him to do so, and this sweet little widower in his 70’s walked away with the lace garter. The old guy walked away with a big smile on his face.
The champagne flutes we raised for the wedding toast had the names of the wedding couple and date of the wedding on them and we were given these flutes as extra little gifts. After the toast it was time for the bride and groom to take their place on the dance floor for their first dance together as husband and wife. They made such an elegant couple as they danced across the dance floor. The floor quickly filled up with couples right after the wedding couple finished their first dance. My poor feet suffered the consequences of my all night dancing.
Then it was time for the happy couple to leave the reception and begin their honeymoon, so everyone was yelling good bye and good luck. Hawaii was the honeymoon destination, from what I was told by one of the guests. I’m sure their honeymoon will be just as wonderful as their wedding day was. The rest of us partied until we couldn’t party no more.
I received my thank you note for my gift and my presence at the wedding and reception, after only two weeks. She really got to these thank you’s quickly. By the way, I found out how she could afford a mikasa wedding and that fantastic cake topper. So today, I’m placing my order for the special cake topper and other accessories for my parents special renewal ceremony and reception.
